The employee may exercise the option, pay the exercise price and would be issued with odd shares in the company. On 2 February 1944, she departed Norfolk in firm with the destroyer Goldsborough on her method to the British West Indies. 1979 'Truxtun' departed San Diego, a short stop at Seal Beach to unload ammo, then on to Bremerton. She spent the month of November at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard undergoing repairs to her nuclear power plant and returned to San Diego on four December. Truxtun returned to San Diego on 27 October. The ship departed San Diego on four April and spent the next six months in operations with the seventh Fleet which took her as far west because the Arabian Sea and AquaSculpt Official as far south as Perth, Australia. Through the period 6 January to eleven July 1978, Truckee performed operations in the Caribbean on four separate events.
